ASTYM Treatment

ASTYM (A-stim) treatment is a rehabilitation program that stimulates the regenerative healing process of the body. This non-invasive therapy helps rejuvenate muscles, tendons and ligaments. It facilitates the remodeling of scar tissue and helps restore tissue health.

Laser/Light Therapy

Light therapy is being used to treat a variety of painful conditions of the soft tissues and joints. Light or photon energy can be used to increase local cellular metabolism without risk of tissue damage.

Active Release Technique

ART is a soft tissue system/movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Abnormal tissues are treated by combining precisely directed tension with very specific patient movements.

Manual Therapy

Our therapists have extensive training in "hands on" techniques including joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, neuromuscular re-education, strain counterstrain, and myofascial release.

Therapeutic Exercise

Our exercise programs are individually tailored. We seek to restore proper function through balancing flexibility, strength, and alignment.

Sports Medicine

We have an extensive background treating a variety of sports related injuries. Treatment includes injury rehabilitation, instruction in proper mechanics, injury prevention, and post-operative care.

Biomechanical / Video Tape Analysis

We believe proper mechanics are vital to injury prevention and rehabilitation. Video analysis is an invaluable tool for patient instruction.

Athletic Training / Coaching

Our therapists have a strong background in athletics including running, golf, tennis, soccer, baseball, and swimming. We regularly coach athletes in proper mechanics and training programs.

Balance / Vestibular Rehabilitation

Improving balance is an exceptionally difficult task. Our therapists have specialized training in addressing the cause of a variety of balance dysfunctions.

Orthotic Casting and Fabrication

Proper mechanics begin from the ground up. Orthotics are a valuable adjunct to the treatment of many injuries including spine, hip, knee, and foot dysfunctions. We provide over-the-counter and custom orthotics at a reasonable price.

Massage Therapy

Cindy McCauly, CMT has been a massage therapist since 1995. She specializes in the relief of myofascial pain and neuromuscular re-education therapy.
